I was taught to knit by my Grandmother as a child. I started knitting again after moving to the Jemez in 1994. I mainly knitted scarves and shawls before the Potholder Queen urged me to make hats. My most popular item has been felted wool hats. Recently I learned to do wet felting and I'm working on this new style. What fun I have playing with wet wool!
I am one of the original members of the Jemez Artisans. I sell in that gallery and at the Range Cafe in Bernalillo, and also do occasional craft shows.
